Recy L. Ragland

SUN PRAIRIE- Recy L. Ragland, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Wed. Sept. 15, 2010, at the UW-Hospital. She was born on Dec. 13, 1953, in Jonesborough, Arkansas, the daughter of Lester and Mary (Holmen) Ragland. Recy graduated from Roseland High School in Chicago and continued her studies at Kennedy King College where she earned her associate degree. She worked as the Dietary Director for Little City Foundation. Recy donated her time with the Outreach Ministry to help the unfortunate. She is survived by her children, Katrece Ragland, LaRhonda Ragland, Charles Ragland, Walter Ragland, Katjuana and Tracy Ragland; grandchildren, Raphael, Conchessa, Luxury, Kawon, Jason, DaVonta, Elijah, Demetrus, Lenae and Joshua; sisters, Virginia Frutell, Vivian (Dennis) Hawkins, Rosie Jones; a brother Cecil (Debra) Ragland; and her husband, Walter Williams. Recy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Estoria; brothers, John and Tyrone; and brother-in-law, Larnel Frutell. Funeral services will be held at MADISON PENTECOSTAL ASSEMBLY, 5109 E. Buckeye Road, Madison, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, with Bishop Eugene Johnson facilitating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
