Carol, Julie, Kristie: You are in my prayers as you have been for all these years. We won't forget Lyle's mischievous ways, his family stories, nor his booming laugh--I can still hear his laugh even though he has been silent these last few years. I will treasure all the memories we have of him, and he will still live in our minds and hearts. My love and prayers to all of you. See you Tuesday. Aze

I was so sorry to hear about Lyle. We worked together at SF in Bloomington in the mid to late 80s. Lyle was in S&S and I was in Systems. We are the ones who built the computerized anti-fraud system and implemented it in the Westlake regional office. Even though I had not heard from Lyle since you all left Bloomington, I have thought about him on numerous occasions over the years. I truly enjoyed working with him. He and I both had a real passion for what we were doing, and sometimes it got us into trouble. :-) The couple of years that I worked with Lyle were truly the most enjoyable years of my career. My deepest sympathies to you Carol, and to your family.

Hi, Carol. I hope you remember me from Holy Trinity. (I was the art teacher.) Sue Norman had told me that Lyle was ill and I am so sorry to hear about his passing away. I know it has been a long struggle for you both and he now can attain the peace he deserves. I remember him as a very nice, kind man. Give my love to Julie and Kristi, even though it has been a long time since we have had contact. You and your family are in my prayers. Love, Brooke

I hired Lyle as a Field Claim Representative in the St. Louis office. Another guest book message referred to Lyle's booming laugh which was so true. Lyle was an excellent investigator which lead to his promotion to the home office. I considered Lyle a true friend not just a fellow worker. He loved to talk and I am sure that being unable to speak for several years must have been a private hell for him. GOOD BYE GOOD FRIEND I WILL LISTEN FOR THE BOOMING LAUGH FROM ABOVE

my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Lyle was a dear friend and I will miss him terribly. I know he is now in a better place and all his pain and frustration are gone. My son, Jeff, remembers him as a wonderful man; always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
