Debra Lee Thompson

MADISON - Debra L. Thompson, age 56, of Madison, passed away on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at HospiceCare, Inc. She was born on Dec. 16, 1953, in Alpena, Mich., the daughter of Bill and Lorraine (Neugent) French. With Debbis father serving in the U.S. Air Force, she was raised throughout the United States. Debbi worked at Shopko for 16 years. She enjoyed traveling and crocheting. Debbi especially enjoyed making gifts and donating her crocheted items. Debbi is survived by her two daughters, Tiffany (Fred) Warren of Marshall, and Dawn Thompson of Appleton;four grandchildren, Hailey and Airik Virgin, Denna Thompson and Tyne Dewall;best friend, Sarah Veal;sisters, Barb (Steve) Sauer of Mazomanie, Pam Hanson of Menasha, and Patty Stumpf of Neenah;nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents;and son, Eric Thompson. To honor Debbis wishes, a private family service will be held.
