Nash, Kerry P.CAMBRIDGE - Kerry P. Nash, age 50, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, unexpectedly after a lengthy illness. He was born on Dec. 2, 1959, in Madison, the son of Thomas F. and Dolores (Campbell) Nash. After graduating from Madison West High School he attended UW-Madison, where he received a bachelor's degree in geography. Kerry married Rita Falck on May 27, 1983 in Denver , Colo. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1983 until 1987, achieving the rank of Captain. He then worked as a Civilian Intelligence Officer for the Dept. of Defense. Kerry was an avid collector, enjoyed birds and cats, and was a member of FITS (Fight In The Sky). He is survived by his wife, Rita; mother, Dolores Wolf; brothers, Kim (Kathi), and Steve (Angie); sisters, Barb (Denny) Knoble, Nancy (Joe) Scudera, and Julie (Ed) West; special aunts, Mary (Carl) Hansen and June Campbell; many nieces, nephews and friends; and his 21 year old cat, Merlin. He was preceded in death by his father; uncle, Duane Campbell; stepfather, Robert Wolf; and his cat, Ghost Dog, in August. A memorial gathering will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., from noon until 2 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010. A special thank you to Drs. John Quisling and Michael Fiore for their friendship and long-term care.
