Barbara J. Peterson,

Barbara Jean Peterson, age 67, passed away on August 5, 2010, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 2, 1943, in Madison, to Gordon and Hazel Puttkammer. Her father preceded Barbara in death. She is survived by her mother, Hazel of Arena; her four children and their spouses, Eric Peterson of Tampa, Fla., Christopher and Valerie Peterson of Bealeton, Va., Jill and Dustin Taylor of Manhattan, Kan., Adria Gentry of Arena; and by five grandchildren, Stephanie, Patrick, Riley, Alyssa, and Lexxie. Barbara lived a creative life and was a talented seamstress and quilter. She loved to cook and traveling was one of her favorite pastimes. She was one-of-a-kind, and will be missed.
