Mr. Jose Lazaro Moreno

Jose L. Moreno, age 57, passed away on Thursday., Aug. 12, 2010. He was born on July 29, 1953 in Mexico. Jose enjoyed public speaking and did that for a job and was Mayor for his home town in the State of Hidalgo, Mexico. He was an avid soccer fan and did some coaching while he lived in Mexico. Jose loved corvettes, and enjoyed working on his and collecting corvette memorabilia.He is survived by his wife, Maria Hernandez;three children,Karla (Erik Weinstein) Wheelock,Marco Moreno,Giovani Moreno;two grandchildren,Bryan Wheelock and Juliette Weinstein;brother,Cecilio (Georgina) Moreno;sister,Cina (Carlos) Moreno;and several nieces and nephews.Jose was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother Martin Moreno.Memorial services will be held on Wednesday., Aug. 18, 2010 at 6 p.m. at the GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., with Father Manuel Mendez presiding. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, at 5 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Special thanks to all of our family and friends for their care and support.
