BEAVER DAM/ TUCSON, AZ- Orville Ray Whited, age 63, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010 at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital. He was born on March 31, 1947, in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Orville R. and Eileen (Luzader) Whited. Ray married Mary Anna Gage on July 28, 1969, in Middleton, WI. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Ray worked as a truck driver for several companies for 30 years and also for 10 years in transportation management. He was an avid golfer and racing fan. Ray loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Mary Anna of Tucson, AZ; children, William (Montique) Whited of Hurlbert Field, FL, Kurt (Marcia) Whited of Fort Wayne, IN, Heather Whited of Tucson, AZ, and Chris (Nila) Whited of Garden Valley, CA; and grandchildren, Robert, Jackson, Patrick and Anna Whited, Colin and Nolen Whited, and Micah, Marita and Lilly Whited; and sister, Nancy Bouwkamp of Markesan, WI. Ray was preceded in death by his parents. Private family services will be held. Memorials may be made in Rays name to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adams Way, Randleman, NC 27317. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital for the care they gave Ray.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember being with your family in Girl Scouting. Our Amy died this year too so I have some idea of what you are going through. Please accept my condolences.
