Obituary

MADISON- Gasper Cap Tantillo, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, after a long illness. He was born on March 24, 1930, in Madison, the son of Thomas and Violet (Lange) Tantillo. Cap spent his life trucking. He owned and operated his own trucking business, Tantillo Trucking. Cap took pride in his white Kenworth Truck, it was always clean and never abused. He loved to fish, hunt and enjoyed spending time at the family cabin. Cap is survived by his son, Tony (Karen) Tantillo; brother, Joe Tantillo; and sister, JoAnn Bartz. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Clemy Peterson; and brothers, Tom and Fred Tantillo. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m, at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, on Saturday, July 24, 2010. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday. A special thank you to all the staff at St. Marys Care Center for their years of loving care.
