Obituary
STOUGHTON-Nancy Rowell, age 67, of Stoughton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at U. W. Hospital. She was born on Oct. 25, 1942 in Canandaigua, N. Y., the daughter of George and Sally Washburn. She was a life member of Walworth, N. Y. Fire Department Auxiliary. Nancy is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Willard Rowell, Sr. of Stoughton; children, Harold (Karen) Rowell of Virginia Beach, Va., Christine (Vern) Bagley of Stoughton, Willard (Brenda) Rowell, Jr. of Palmyra, N. Y., Loretta (David) Gage of Williamson, N. Y., nine grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Gratton of Rochester, N. Y.; several nieces and nephews; brother and sister-in-laws. She was preceded in death by a son, George Duane Rowell; daughter, Wanda Lynn Rowell; and brother, Calvin Washburn. Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1358 Hwy. 51, Stoughton, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2010. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Nancy.

Aunt Nancy you will be missed greatly. Your lively and spirited soul was always something to look forward to. I know for myself that i will always look back with fond memories of you and the time I spent with you wether it was onthe village of Walworth or at Grandma and Grandpa Rowells house. Nan,i will really miss you..you were my best friend,a great mother in law,my auction bidding partner,always made me laugh when i was overworked or invited me over for supper,which was a treat!an occasional slug in the arm if i missed a garage sale sign.always kept me in line,miss you and you will always be with me.love you forever
