Obituary
OREGON - Sean R. White, age 17, of Oregon, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, June 22, 2010, from injuries sustained as a passenger in an auto accident. He was born on Oct. 4, 1992 to Roger and Lisa (Smith) White. From an early age and throughout his short life, Sean enjoyed snow boarding, playing on his soccer team, and outscoring his mother and younger brother in ping-pong and badminton. He also enjoyed cooking tasty dishes. He spent his family vacations traveling to visit other family members in far away states, camping at nearby Wisconsin lakes, and snow boarding at ski resorts up north. He was a very social young man who truly loved time spent with his family, friends, and dog, CoCo. Sean had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to tease. He really cared about those who were important to him and brought laughter and smiles to the people around him. He had a very big heart and was a loyal son and friend. He was very excited about an upcoming Outward Bound camping/canoeing expedition at the Minnesota Boundary Waters, as well as his first snowboard/ski trip out west with his mom, this coming winter. He was also looking forward to graduating from Oregon High School next spring to prepare for the next phase of his life. He then planned to attend MATC and to travel more. Sean is survived by his parents and younger brother Aaron, all of Oregon; grandmother, Dorothy Smith; aunts and uncles, Ron and Janet White, Virginia Douglas, Jack and Rita White, Jake and Shaunna Smith, Curt Smith; great-aunt, Jean Frame; many cousins and friends; special grandparents, Richard and Mary Ann Bracker. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Boyd White and William Smith; grandmothers, Verle White and Rena Smith; and uncle, Barry Smith. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. with a funeral service at 4 p.m. at the HILLCREST BIBLE CHURCH, 752 E. Netherwood Road, (alternate route due to Oregon Summerfest Parade, from Hwy 14, exit onto County Hwy MM into Oregon, turn left onto Richard St., turn right onto Merri-Hill Dr., and then left onto Netherwood Road), Oregon, on Sunday, June 27, 2010. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers for a memorial bench to be located at Oregon High School soccer fields.

Words cannot express the sorrow we all feel at your loss. I did not know Sean personally, but if he was anything like his family, I know he was a fine individual.
Time may ease your pain, but your fond memories of Sean will live always. My prayers are with you in this hour of sorrow and pain.
God Bless

Even though we only have known Sean a short amount of time, Michael has truly enjoyed playing soccer with Sean. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Sean was one of the players that Yaw talked about frequently, he touched our family and will never be forgotten.
