Obituary

OREGON/ MCFARLAND- Victoria "Tori" Braun, age 16, of Oregon, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was born on Oct. 6, 1993, in Boise, Idaho, the daughter of Julie (Maveus) and Roger Braun. She lived in Boise, Idaho for nine years before moving to Oregon. She attended Oregon Middle School, Oregon Highschool and Oasis, graduating at the age of 16, two years early, with the senior class on June 6, 2010. Tori had been accepted at MATC and was excited to be starting classes in August in the Liberal Arts Science Transfer Program. Tori was employed at Sears West Towne and Keller Williams Realty. She loved spending time with her many friends and will be sadly missed by them. She is survived by her mother, Julie and step-father, Dan Brummel; two brothers, Travis and Paul; a sister, Rachel; three step-brothers, Braedan, Austin and Andrew; grandparents, Robert and Carol Maveus, and Pat Braun; and many aunts, uncles, cousin and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Braun; and grandfather, Elmer Braun. Funeral services will be held at HAWTHORNS LIFE CELEBRATION CENTER, 1150 Park Street, Oregon (one block south of HWY 138), at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2010. Visitation will be on Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Prairie Mound Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, because of Tori's love of animals, memorials may be made to the Dane County Humane Society or to a charity of the donor's choice. Cemetery: Burial will be at Prairie Mound Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Visitation: Visitation will be on Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Service: Funeral services will be held at HAWTHORNS LIFE CELEBRATION CENTER, 1150 Park Street, Oregon (one block south of HWY 138), at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2010.

I am very sorry for your terrible loss. We don't know what Gods plans are for us but we do know he loves us. Look to God in this time of grief for the comfort to get through this. Julie, you and your family will be in my prayers
