Obituary

STOUGHTON-June Virginia Grinde, age 82, died on Sunday, June 13, 2010, after a short illness. She was born in Madison, to Charles and Nora Williamson Jr., on June 26, 1927. She was the oldest of three and graduated from Pumpkin Hollow grade school and then from Madison East High School in 1945. On June 1, 1947, she married Harold L. Walker at Trinity Lutheran Church, which is where she was baptized and confirmed. To this union, four children were born. Harold passed away on May 6, 1969. In 1975, June married Harris Grinde. Harris passed away in October 1980. June worked for the State of Wisconsin for 23 years, retiring in 1989. For the next 10 years, she lived in Boscobel and then moved to Stoughton to be closer to her children. June is survived by her children, Terry (Denise) Walker, Bradley (Rita) Walker, Sheri (Robert) Peterson, and Wanda (George) Anderson; grandchildren, Deanna (Jeff) Regel, Scott Walker, Brent Walker, Nick (Brigid) Peterson, Kelsey (Trevor) Dybevik, Melissa (Rob) Hermanson, Lindsay Anderson, Kourtney Anderson, Morgan Anderson, and Katie Anderson; and soon-to-be two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Harold and Harris; her parents, father in 1980 and her mother in 2001; and sister, Donna in 1991. Junes brother, Duane Williamson passed away just hours after her death. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at noon on Saturday, June 19, 2010. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Cemetery: Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Service: Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at noon on Saturday, June 19, 2010.
