Obituary
WINDSOR/MADISON- Pauline Kukawica, age 96, of Windsor, formerly of Madison, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2010 in Windsor. She was born on Jan. 22, 1914 in Poland. She came to America in 1951, settling in Jim Falls the first year and then moving to Madison. She worked at St. Marys Hospital and was a member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. Pauline enjoyed being in her garden, knitting and crocheting and spending a lot of time with her family (it was her life). She is survived by her children, John (Sharon) Hanushewicz of Madison, Nick (\"Pepper\") Hanuschewicz of Madison, and Michail (Kathleen) Kukawica of Madison; grandchildren, Brian Kukawica, Andrew Kukawica, Mike (Susan) Hanuschewicz, Kathy (Kirk) Solberg, Stephanie (Brian) Chiono, Charian (Richard) Olson, Nick Hanushewicz and Teresa (Chris) Coplan; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Kukawica. Funeral services will be held at the ASSUMPTION GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 11 N. 7th St., Madison, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, with Father Michael Vanderhoef presiding. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, on Monday, June 7, 2010 from 5 p.m. 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:45 p.m., and also from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Tuesday at church.

Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, on Monday, June 7, 2010 from 5 p.m. 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:45 p.m., and also from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Tuesday at church.
Service:
