Owen Theodore Trainor

Trainor, Owen T. MADISON-Owen T. Trainor, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. He was born on Jan. 13, 1954, in Madison, the son of Owen T. and Christine (Anderson) Trainor. Owen attended La Follette High School. It was there that he met his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Sherry Stroede. They were married on July 28, 1973, in Madison. Owen enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his family. He was a great outdoorsman. Owen is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sherry; his children, Owen T., Misty (Todd Rotzoll) and Dustin (Tonya); his four-legged friend, Doc; grandchildren, Emma, Owen, Taijah, Danny, Autumn, Mya, Aiden and Allie; siblings, Beverly (Stanley) Tate, Kathleen (Mike) Meyers, Robert Anderson, Matt Stroede, and Billie Jo Stroede; mother-in-law, Oleva Stroede; extended family; all others who considered him dad; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roger Anderson; and father-in-law, George Stroede. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2010. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Please dress casual. A celebration of Owens life will take place at Owens home following the service. Please bring a dish to pass, your own beverages and lawn chairs. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for a fund to be established.
