Obituary

STOUGHTON-Jeffrey Scott Bingham, age 47, of Stoughton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 24, 2010, from an undiagnosed heart condition. He was born on April 5, 1963, in Madison, the son of Douglas Bingham and Karen McWilliams. Jeff attended Deerfield High School. After graduation, he entered the HVACR industry, going on to own and operate his own company, Commercial Air Inc. Through his hard work and leadership, his company has become a respected area business, providing steadfast and dignified employment to his co-workers. Jeff married Rose Owens on March 19, 1995, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He enjoyed Harleys, ATVs, snowmobiling, scuba diving, and reading. Jeff is survived by his wife, Rose of Stoughton; stepson, Michael Murphy of Stoughton; parents, Doug and Bev Bingham of Mercer, and Karen and Larry McWilliams of Gamaliel, Ark.; sister and brother-in-law, Tamra and Mike Schultz of Edgerton; brother, Randy of Edgerton; godparents, Edward and Wilma Bingham of Mercer; stepbrother, Timothy Christiansen of Madison; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family was very important to Jeff. Funeral services will be held at the historic FIRST EAST KOSHKONONG LUTHERAN CHURCH, 454 E. Church Road, Cambridge, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2010, with the Rev. Stanley Christensen presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at East Koshkonong Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association. Jeff was loved and respected by everyone who knew him. He was taken far too soon and will be greatly missed. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association. Visitation: Visitation will be at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
