Murray, Lea M.CHICAGO, ILL./OREGON, WIS. - Lea M. Murray, age 96, of Oregon, Wis., passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010, at HospiceCare in Fitchburg, Wis. She was born on Aug. 22, 1913, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Ralph and Lea (Reinisch) Galke. Lea married James M. Murray on Aug. 29, 1936 in Chicago, Ill. She and James owned and operated a newspaper agency in Chicago, Ill for 22 years. Lea was a member of St Ann Catholic Church in Stoughton, Wis., and a member of the Lady Elks Auxiliary. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Arnolde- Habich, of McFarland, Wis., and Janet (Ed) Verri of Huntley, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents;husband, James;and brother, Ralph. Funeral services will be held at ST. ANN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 323 N. Van Buren St., Stoughton, Wis. at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, with Monsignor Gerard M. Healy presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 until the time of the service on Tuesday. A chapel service and burial will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday at Maryhill Cemetery Chapel, 8600 Milwaukee Ave., Niles, Ill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lea's name to The Don and Marilyn AndersonHospiceCare Center, 5395 E. Cheryl Pkwy., Fitchburg, Wis., 53711.
