Marian Irene Wise,

MADISON-Marian Irene (Stefanovitz) Wise, age 85,died Friday May 14, 2010 after a brief stay at St. Mary\'s Hospital in Madison. Marian was born in Milwaukee in 1924, to John and Lillian (Bohlman) Stefanovitz and graduated from Girl\'s Trade and Technical High School there. She worked at the Master Lock Company until she married George Albert Wise in 1946. They made their home in Madison until George died in 1984. For the past 20 years, Marian has been a resident of the Sawyer Terrace apartments where she has many friends. Marian was an avid fan of Badger hockey and football. Marian is survived by her children Randy Wise, Pam Baillod (Brian), Dawn Wood, Jerry Wise, grandchildren, Darrick Knutson (Rebecca),Carrie Knutson, Megan Van Horn, Rachel Bo, Timothy Wise, and Matthew Wise and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, and brothers John, Robert and Gerald.A private family remembrance will be held to celebrate the love in Marian and George\'s lives together. The Gunderson Funeral Home in Middleton has been entrusted with arrangements and the family would like to specially thank the staff at St. Mary\'s Cardiac ICU.
