MADISON- Lorraine T. Dillon, age 79, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2010, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on Dec. 15, 1930, in Rhinelander, the daughter of Henry and Eleanor (Doyle) Turcotte. Lorraine graduated high school in Long Beach, Calif. After graduation she started her family in Orange County, Calif., and relocated back to Madison in 1964. She worked as a bookkeeper and a customer service representative for Graber and Springs in Middleton and retired to McFarland. Lorraine was an enthusiastic Packer fan and enjoyed discussing politics. Lorraine also had a great sense of humor and prided herself in making people laugh. She is survived by her son, Mark (Jenifer); daughters, Sheri (Edward) Scoville, and Denise (Gregory) Harris; grandchildren, Lindsey, Kelsey and Zachary Dillon, Bridget, Brianna, and Blake Scoville, Trever and Sydney Harris; and sister, Norma Turcotte. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Turcotte. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2010. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition.
