Marga Weaver

Weaver, Marga OREGON- Marga Weaver, age 83, of Oregon, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2010 at her home. She was born on Sept. 28, 1926, in Nurnberg, Germany, the daughter of Heinrich and Kunigunda (Bauer) Stein. Marga married Carl G. Weaver, Jr., on Sept. 17, 1947, in Dubuque, IA. Along with her husband, she farmed in the Oregon area for over 50 years. Marga was a member of the Eastern Star in Oregon. She was proud of her German heritage and her family and friends will miss the enormous joy and fun she brought to everyone she touched. Marga had a way with words that would make you laugh. She is survived by her four children, Erwin (Judy) Weaver of Oregon, James (Nancy) Weaver of Oregon, Merna (David) Sanner of Brooklyn, and Ramona (Dennis) Daane of Oregon; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Marga was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; son, Lonnie Roy Weaver; granddaughter, Sherri Lynn Goins; and 8 brothers and sisters. A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2010 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 431 Soden Dr., Oregon.
