My deepest sympathies to the family of Lucas and all of his friends and loved ones. I remember Lucas from Sennett Middle School and Lafollette High School where he was a classmate of my daughter Laura. He stood out as an exemplary, principled individual and clearly was seen as someone who would be a leader of his generation on so many levels. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss. Jayne Mullins Madison

I am so sorry to hear of Lucas' passing. I remember some wonderful times with Lucas and Kyle in Odyssey of the Mind and of course on our trip to Florida. He was a good friend to Kyle and he will be remembered with a smile. I'm here if you need to talk to another mom.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Lucas Johnson, but for the past ten years, his adoring grandparents have done an excellent job of keeping the retired Fort Atkinson teachers, spouses, and friends who gather each Tuesday for breakfast apprised of the activities and accomplishments of their eldest grandson. Lucas always made them so proud as you could tell by the many family stories Don and Donna frequently shared with us. My greatest sympathies go out to Beth and Tom, Sara and Kyle, and Don and Donna for their unimaginable loss.
