Beetham, June Arlene MADISON- June Arlene Beetham, age 85, of Madison, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2010, at Oak Park Place in Madison. She was born on May 30, 1924, in Madison, the daughter of Adolph and Mabel (Anderson) Habich. June was a graduate of Madison East High School in 1941 and the Madison Academy of Cosmetology. She married Harry George Beetham on Aug. 25, 1946 in Madison. Together they raised their children in Monona before moving to DeForest in 1992. They later moved back to Madison in 2007. Junes life centered around her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church. June is survived by her children, Melinda Schenck of Oregon, Deborah (Don) Wilson of Baraboo, John (Tina) Beetham of Oregon, Dean Beetham of Hermosa Beach, Calif, Kent Beetham (Jean McMannes) of Monticello, Pamela Beetham of Appleton, Liesa (Dan) O Shaughnessy of Vista, Calif., and Rhonda Beetham (Rosanne Derdula) of Madison; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren with another great-granddaughter on the way; two sisters, Marilyn Smith of Madison, and Nancy (Kenneth) Jevens of Madison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; parents; three brothers, Dude Habich, Alden Habich, and William Habich; a grandson, Jason Schenck; a great-grandson, Cameron Hassler; and a son-in-law, James Schenck. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2010 with Pastor Edward Johnson presiding. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, April 30,2010 and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
