Emery, John Lewis MADISON-John Lewis Emery, age 71, passed away quietly on Monday, April 19, 2010, at St. Marys Hospital. He was born on Feb. 2, 1939, in Wauzeka, the son of John and Grace Emery John married Betty Malsch on Oct. 19, 1968. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. John is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Lynn Emery and Lori Emery; brothers, Lavon Emery, Virgil (Donna) Emery and Richard (Shirley) Emery; sisters, Georgina Mullikin, Janice Losinski and Pat (Ken) Nelson; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at St. Marys Hospital for the care they gave John. Cemetery: Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
