Lundey, Adeline Alma
MIDDLETON-Adeline Alma Lundey, age 89, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the University Hospital in Madison. She was born in Abrams, Wi. on April 17, 1920, the daughter of Fred and Mary (Hannemann ) Duescher. Adeline was a woman ahead of her time, living independently at age 17, attending business school and having a career before marriage. She married Theodore R. Lundey on Thanksgiving, November 24, 1955 and they had over 50 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death in 2006. In 1955, Adeline and Theodore moved to Middleton where they raised their family. Adeline was always working, whether it was Medalist-Kline, Marshall Fields or doing bookkeeping for her daughter's dance studio. Adeline was quite computer savvy for her age. She once said the biggest developments of her time were electricity and computers. Adeline loved to gather her family together whether it was the holidays or just for summer fun. She was always there to support them at dance recitals or her grandsons' hockey games. She is survived by her son, David (Sarah); daughter Joan and grandchildren Kyle and Tyler. Funeral services will be held at ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7337 Hubbard Ave, Middleton at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 29, 2010 with the Reverend Roger Eigenfeld presiding.
