David Hassell

Hassell, David R. MADISON-David R. Hassell, age 46, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Meriter Hospital, with family and friends by his side. He was born on March 7, 1964, in Arkansas, the son of Mathis and Mary (Harris) Hassell. David married Lisa McNair on Aug. 12, 1994, in Madison. He worked at Oscar Mayer. David enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, bowling, spending time with family and friends, and was an avid sports fan. He is survived by his wife, Lisa; daughter, Crystal Wilson; son, David Wilson; seven grandchildren; his parents; brothers, William, Mathis Jr. and Ricky Hassell; sisters, Bobbie and Teronda Hassell; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Mame Jones Hassell, and Willie F. and Joe Harris. Funeral services will be held at MOUNT ZION BAPTIST CHURCH, 2019 Fisher St., Madison, at noon on Thursday, March 18, 2010, with the Rev. Richard Jones presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
