Carol Rose

Rose, Carol M.MONONA - Carol M. Rose, age 84, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 at Belmont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Jan. 23, 1926, in Mazomanie, the daughter of Harry and Elsie (Hammerly) Rasmussen. Carol retired after 25 years of working as a Realtor. Carol is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Frank) DiPiazza of McFarland; son, Kelly J. Brings of Monona; daughter, Renee A. Supple of Cross Plains; son, David W. Brings of Highland Park, Ill. five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Lucile Rettenmund; and brother, Richard Rasmussen. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Douglas; and brother, Robert Rasmussen. A memorial service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park Chapel, 401 Femrite Dr., at 3 p.m., on Friday, Feb. 26, 2010. The family would like to thank the staff at Meriter Hospital, Belmont Nursing Home, Dr. Elizabeth Trowbridge and Gail Gaustad for their guidance and support through this journey.
