Pulver, Marvin C.
BELLEVILLE-Marvin C. "Marv" Pulver, age 69, of Belleville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010. He was born on April 5, 1940, in Exeter Township, Green County, the son of Carl and Hilda (Schmid) Pulver. Marv attended Oregon School and graduated from Verona High School. He married Phyllis Niendorf on Aug. 9, 1961, in Marxville. Marv married Jean Elmer on April 7, 1984, in Monticello. He farmed for 25 years, worked at Menard's in Monona for 15 years, and Federal Industries in Belleville. Marv is survived by his wife, Jean; children, Bonnie (Mike) Meiller, Brenda (Phil) Fry, Mark Pulver (Carrie), and Marie Pulver; stepchildren, Roger (Cheryl) Arn, Steve (Judy) Arn, Judy (Mike) Doyle, and Linda (Ken) Meier;24 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Janice (Arnold) Lien; a niece; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Gloria; and two infant granddaughters. A memorial service will be held at FIRST UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 103 E. Church St., Belleville, at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, with the Rev. Heide Walker Hackman presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens at a later date

Jean - I am so sorry to hear about Marv. He was such a wonderful help - along with you to my MOM - Hazel Keehn. I am sure a lot of people feel the same way I do. He was always ready and willing to help people out with whatever they needed. May he rest in peace. You have my sympathy. Sue
