Hatfield, Jean MarieMADISON - Jean Marie Hatfield, age 51, of Madison passed away on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 at HospiceCare. She was born on April 23, 1958 in Two Rivers, the daughter of George and Marion (Seiler) Shimulunas. Jean married Lyle Hatfield on June 23, 2001 in Madison. She attended UW-Madison. Jean worked at Madison Gas & Electric in administrative support. She was a member of Door Creek Church and was active in children\'s ministry. Jean enjoyed biking and traveling with her husband. She is survived by her husband of eight years, Lyle;sister, Bonnie Shimulunas,;brother, Bucky (Jill) Shimulunas;sister, Kay (John) Neskas;brother, Karl (Debbie) Shimulunas; brother-in-law, Tim (Laura) Hatfield; sisters-in-law, Angela (Keith) Hoekman and Amy (David) Pahl;nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Peggy Shimulunas. Funeral services will be held at DOOR CREEK CHURCH, 6602 Dominian Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010. Inurnment will be at Knollwood Cemetery in Two Rivers. Visitation will be at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, from 5 p.m until 8 p.m., and at the church on Thursday, from 10 a.m until the time of the service. Visitation will be at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, from 5 p.m until 8 p.m., and at the church on Thursday, from 10 a.m until the time of the service.
Service:
Funeral services will be held at DOOR CREEK CHURCH, 6602 Dominian Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010.

Lyle,Bucky,Bonnie,Kay,Karl we are so deeply saddened to hear of our neice and cousin's passing. Jean is a beacon of light that will shine on forever in our hearts. Her bright smile and wonderful memories that she gave to our family will remain with us forever. We were blessed to have know her. She will be sadly missed by Uncle Lloyd, Don, Pat, Sandy, Debbie, Mary and Roger.
