Sinieve Schmelzer

Schmelzer, Sinieve J. "Jenny" MADISON-Sinieve "Jenny" Schmelzer, age 85, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Jan.11, 2010, surrounded by her family, at HospiceCare. She married Rupert Schmelzer in 1947, at St. Bernard Catholic Church on Atwood Ave. He preceded her in death in 1998. Jenny truly enjoyed shopping, cooking, and baking. She is survived by her children, Linda (Jim) Rose of Oregon, and Gary (Terri) Schmelzer of Cottage Grove; grandchildren, Michael (Jenni) White, Jill (Joe) Similar, Jeremy (Shelley) Schmelzer, and Linsi (Tim) Wick; and six great-grandchildren. Jenny was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and seven siblings. No services will be held, but please hold your memory of Jenny close to your heart as you fondly remember her.
