Our Story

Gunderson Funeral Home has been serving the Cross Plains, Fitchburg, Lodi, Madison, Middleton, Oregon, Stoughton, Mt. Horeb and Black Earth area community for many years. We’re thankful to be an important part of this community and will continue our longstanding legacy of helping families honor their loved ones.

This award is given to only a few funeral homes across the country on the basis of innovative leadership and service to families and the community. We are proud to receive this award and pledge to you and to those we serve that we will continue to uphold the highest ethical and professional standards. We are proud that our staff is involved in our communities. Gunderson staff are: volunteer firefighters,coaches, active church members, as well as members of fraternal organizations, foundations, civic groups and local chamber of commerces.
