Obituary:
MADISON-Randy G. Maynard, age 50, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Meriter Hospital. He was born on Nov. 24, 1961, in Madison, the son of Roger and Norma (Nordness) Maynard. Randy graduated from McFarland High School in 1980. After graduating, he entered the U.S. Army and served in Germany for three years. He then stayed in Germany for 15 years. Randy loved to fish and tell stories. He was an avid Packers and Brewers fan. He was a member of American Legion Post 167. He is survived by his daughter, Kim; father, Roger (Ellie); mother, Norma Maynard; sisters, Teresa Maynard, Ginger (Jay) Clark; nephews, Roth and Christian Clark; and also leaves behind many aunts and uncles. A Memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2012. Inurnment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park with full military honors. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday. Memorials may be made to Camp American Legion, 8529 W. County Road D, Lake Tomahawk, WI, 54539. Randy will be dearly missed by family and friends.
