In 1956 a new facility was built on Monona Drive, and the Schenk's Corners operation moved there.
In 1983 the family purchased two Gruber Funeral Homes-in Middleton and Cross Plains.
In 1986 they purchased the Booth family funeral Home in the Village of Oregon.
Finally, in 1994 they built a new location in Stoughton, making five Gunderson funeral chapels in all.
All five locations are full-service funeral firms, offering the same wide variety of choices and options,
as well as hours of operation and prices.
